Laminated boards, issued without dust-wrapper. Top edge browned & slightly bumped, end-paper initials. A very good copy. "This book traces the history of the River Dovey from the time of the Romans to the present day." A brief history of the Dovey/Dyfi, including something of the history of the Dovey Fishery Association and the subsequent New Dovey Fishery Association, as well as a certain amount on the port of Derwenlas. Much information on local people with some involvement with the river. The author was not an angler and his book consists of random notes related to the river that he had collected over a lifetime of research into local history. .
