Item description from seller

112p. A navy blue cloth hardcover book in very good condition. Cover lettering a bit faded else a clean vintage copy. A compilation of poems and anecdotes about the alleged evils of Catholic convents and monasteries. This book includes entries such as "What a Klansman Believes" and "The Ku Klux Klan Visit Helen Jackson at the Christian Church Eaton, Indiana" that indicate its affiliation or sympathy with the second Ku Klux Klan and its anti-Catholic, anti-immigrant agenda. This iteration of the Klan reached its peak influence in the 1920s. L.J. King was a prolific anti-Catholic author and speaker who left the Roman Catholic priesthood and converted to Protestantism.
