Hardcover of dark blue velveteen cloth with gilt on the spine and the cover. The surface appears slightly uneven in color, possible light fading at top. Things, particles, tend to adhere, and it needs to be lightly brushed to appear totally even in color. No slipcase. Squarish octavo of 9 3/4 inches by 8 inches. All pages are formed of a single bound sheet, folded at the fore edge. Beautiful illustrations, which are reproductions of the originals owned by Arthur Szyk, and which incorporate the Hebrew text. The English text is on the facing page. The front cover opens from the left, to the Hebrew Title page. The Right hand opening is the conclusion and also opens to the English title page.
