Neat contemporary gift inscription to front pastedown; cloth slightly rubbed at top edge of upper cover, otherwise VG+; jacket with slight tanning to spine, except price, suggesting a later price sticker was perhaps applied, a little edge wear with minor loss, overall VG. Dust-jacket artwork by Wake. A very good first edition of this intriguing novel, based on the story Mon premier crime by Gustave Mace� , in the series "La Police parisienne.".
