1st Edition. 12mo. pp. 198; frontispiece. Original green vellum backed marbled boards a little worn. Contemporary inscriptions to front end paper and rear pastedown. Provenance. W. Cook of Owston, near Doncaster, with "Youth" written in his hand on the title page. A didactic novel, rare in this 1st Edition, written by Barbara Hoflund, the author of over 60 similar works. This title was re-issued a number of times until at least the 1880s.
