Published by the "Society for the Preservation of the Landscape Features of Essex County, Massachusetts and the Peabody Museum, Salem, Massachusetts" Designed and printed by The Rumford Press, Concord, NH. With various articles on landscape, architecture, real estate, rivers & streams, pollution, wild life, fauna & flora plus conservation practices in the area. Foreword plus other pieces by Phillips. This copy in G to VG condition with light cover wear; light foxing to preliminary pages o/w internally clean with all plates plus map bright. An uncommon title, especially for the John C. Phillips collector.
