About this Item

First edition, first state, with picture of Handy Mandy on the spine and a list of titles on the back flap that ends at number 30, Handy Mandy in Oz. Yellow boards with a perfect pictorial paste down on the front board. Minor soiling to the top edge of the text block, minor foxing to the fore edge, and minor foxing on the inside of the front board. Previous owner's inscription on the first free end paper. Unclipped jacket is missing the bottom inch of the portion covering the heel of the spine. Minor chipping along the top edge of the jacket and wear to the bottom edge. Jacket is in good condition, book is near fine.
