297 x 210mm; spiral-bound at head. Illustrations "which originally appeared on the Health Report of Cosmopolitan during 1983. The vinyl cut on the cover was done for the private view invitation at Illustrators Art in 1982." Printed by Skelton's Press. Documentary film-maker and collector extraordinary, Jonathan Gili (1943-2004) was also a quirky small-press publisher who deployed his eye for design not only for books as grand as John Betjeman's Metro-Land (1977, with lithographs by Glynn Boyd Harte) but also for calendars for his sometime school-friend David Game's group of tutorial colleges, founded in 1974. Latterly, he used his own artful photographs; his early calendars deployed a talented team of illustrators. Hannah Firmin is best known for her book covers for Alexander McCall Smith's No. 1 Ladies' Detectives Agency series.
