The "holiday" recipes includes background on each Jewish holiday. Thi section also includes a menu for Fourth of July and Thanksgiving. " Harriet's Hints" sprinkled throughout and notes on kashruth add to the value and make this culinary delightful to anyone who keeps kosher as well.
