It is a a fine resource for the modeller and the general enthusiast as well. The book is a European A4 sized (8-1/4" x 11-3/4"), 160 page, stiff cover. Color, both photos and drawings, appears throughout the book. The book divides into three basic parts. The first part is 40 odd pages outlining the background, design, development, and service history of the aircraft. The meat of the book is the next 90 odd pages. Here we have color profiles, color cockpit drawings, drawings pointing out differences between all variants, contemporary technical manual drawings, color photographs of close up details of surviving examples, details of camouflage and markings, and reviews of the plastic kits available for the Hurricane. The rest of the book is the appendices which tabulate a great deal of information about the aircraft such as production details, units, aces, powerplants, etc. The book is topped off with a bound fold-out which has the equivalent of 8 pages worth of very high quality 1/48th scale line drawings.…
