Condition Report Externally Spine good condition gilt titles, 5 raised bands, 6 compartments with gilt decorative borders, the outer tips of the spine are also gilt. Joints good condition gently rubbed and worn with some loss of colour to the joints. Corners good condition gently bumped and worn. Boards good condition polished blue calf leather binding by Sangorski & Sutcliffe, gilt titles to the front, decorative gilt borders to both, the outer edges of the boards are also decorated in gilt. Page edges good condition top edge gilt, fore and bottom edges lightly tanned with some foxing. See above and photos. Internally Hinges good condition intact. Paste downs good condition plain with gilt dentelles, the book binders name is stamped in gilt along the bottom edge of the front paste down. End papers good condition plain with some offsetting, internal free end papers are tanned with some foxing. Title good condition lightly tanned with minor foxing.
