First Edition, 1. - 60. Auflage. Swiss author's novel of the late 19th Century and set in Bregenz and T�bingen. The author wrote travel literature for Switzerland, Germany and Austria as well as fiction and poetry. This copy rather unique for retaining its original printed dustjacket and printed slipcase. Good, firmly bound volume, binding material split along spine edges, chipped at spine ends, in dustjacket with closed tears, loss at spine ends and top front panel, rear panel lacking top quarter, in Very Good slipcase.
