Pages [93 plus index] mostly clean [4 pages with a mild smudge], unmarked, binding sound. PO's name at endpaper, dated Feb 20, 1908. Light lavender cloth boards, a little shelf wear at extremities, bright gilt lettering, narrow vertical area at rear with discoloration and two smal punctures. Besides religious poems and sonnets there are poems inspired from travels in Europe and some translated from teh German. Looking at the title index I found two poems of interest to Missouri readers: In the Heart of the Ozark Hills and Song of the Missouri River.
