About this Item
A first and only edition of this collection of poetry. Divided into poems and sonnets. 'Henry Winslow trained in Paris as an architect at the Ecole des Beaux Arts, became a painter in tempera and water colour, exhibiting in London and Paris. During his last year when his sight failed, he wrote these poems and wished them given to his friends'. A newspaper cutting about Winslow's art has been loosely inserted. In a full morocco binding. Externally, very smart with some shelfwear only. Some fading to the spine. Internally, firmly bound. Generally clean with just the odd mark. Ink inscription to the first blank. Two cut-out pieces of paper reading Henry Winslow have been stuck to two separate pages. Very Good Indeed. Seller Inventory # LTH17-B-9
