1st Edition 12.5 x 19 cm black cloth with silver stamped titles to the spine. Pictorial endpapers, 352[1]pp with original unclipped jacket priced at 10/6. The boards are clean with a slight, difficult to see, darkening on the rear panel corresponding with an area of faint rippling on the dust jacket. The corners are firm and sharp. Internally clean, without name, inscription or bookplate and just a hint of spotting on the top edge. The dust jacket is clean and bright and without fading to the spine but with a little dust staining to the white rear panel and some rippling for 3cm along the spine side of the rear panel. There is rubbing to the spine tips and corners with a little surface abrasion and minimal loss to the corners and at the foot of the spine. There is a thin 0.5 x 2 cm chip at the top of the rear joint. All in all an excellent 1st edition copy of this tale of medieval magic from the "Father of Modern Witchcraft".
