The book has fading to spine, top edge of text block has faded to pink, frayed spine ends, cracking to inside hinges at EP (but holding strongly), rubbing along edges, foxing on EPs and a little on first and last few pages (most pages have no foxing), no previous owner marks or writing on any pages. The book measures 223mm tall x 143mm, and has 320 pages, 48 b/w photos, glossary, index. Little known account of living in the Quimsa Cruz mountains of Bolivia. Includes description of climbs on glaciers. Husband was working mines in the area. Interesting description of local people. PHOTOS ARE OF THE ACTUAL BOOK BEING OFFERED.
