Black cloth boards with bright silver gilt titling and publishers device on spine. Book is tight, square and free of any markings inside - attractive map endpapers of India and surrounding countries. Interesting account of the authors' travels and includes his thoughts on the future of this area, particularly with regards to the battle between Russia and China for control. Unclipped pictorial Dust Jacket is crisp. The rear has reviews of other travel books by Gibbs. A small missing section on at the top of the rear and the front knock the DJ down to Very Good.
