This was one of the three Hillsdale Books featuring Ward Jackson. Basketball is the main sport, the front green cover has a basketball going through the net. The frontispiece (which is not attached) is of Ward in the pole vault. This is a True First Edition with the (1) on the bottom of page 270. The cover is worn, the corners are bumped and the spine is loose. The text is fine, no markings or writing. The book is in good- condition. This is one of the most difficult of juvenile sports fiction to find and has been priced to reflect the defects the book does have. I have more than 100 football and basketball fiction books and over 2,400 baseball publications in stock. Discounts are available when you purchase multiple items on the same order.
