Binding worn and soiled, especially so at the spine ends and lower shoulder, endpapers lightly soiled, a just about very good copy with the binding solid and the interior otherwise quite clean. Following the bibliography are 25 pages of ads for the publisher's educational books, with descriptions and positive blurbs. An early American educational bibliography, reprinted in 1973 with a foreword by Francesco Cordasco, author of *A Brief History of Education* and co-editor of *A Bibliography of American Educational History*. The first edition is uncommon.
