xi, 327, incl. indices Excellent copy of this collection: learned papers on the survival of traditional Spanish and Portuguese ballads in Iberia and beyond. Library binding in stout green cloth, characteristic of many Garland scholarly titles; gilt lettering, spine and top board. Scant signs of wear without, apart from light contact. The interior is in mint condition: excellent paper stock is unmarked at EPs and text block; binding is squared and tight -- the book appears unused. No DJ; apparently none issued. Returns are honored in full if made within 30 days of the estimated delivery date AND if the condition of the book is the same as originally described in the Abebooks listing. If you are returning a book, please take care to protect it from damage in transit.
Our domestic (US) rates are based on a standard per-item weight of 2.2 lbs, or 1 kg. Shipping costs for added items are discounted if we can safely ship them together. If a single item exceeds our standard weight, we may request additional postage.
Domestic (US) media mail (7-28 days): $7.00 for the first item; $3.00 for each additional item. Domestic priority mail (3-7 days): $13.00 for the first item; $9.00 for each additional item.
International first-class rates: $45.00 for the first item; $15.00 for each additional item. But see below:
International shipping is based on the total weight of the package being shipped. Our first choice carrier is USPS, but we will seek alternatives if USPS does not serve your country or if we can find a cheaper carrier with comparable policies (insurance and tracking). If the cheapest rate we find still exceeds the stated shipping total given in the listing, we may may need to request a higher shipping price -- but we will clear this with you first. On the other hand, if we can find a rate that is lower than the one stated, we will also lower the cost for you.
