Quartos. Two volumes. Volume I: [1], 1069 pages, [2]. Volume II: [2], 626 pages, [1]. Red cloth hardcovers with gilt titles on the spines. Volume 1 appears to have been restored and unfortunately the text block was bound upside down from back to front. The front hinge is cracked and glued. The rear hinge appears to be okay. The top edge of the cloth spine is partially glued to the text block. Light foxing to the foredge. Light edge wear to the cloth extremities. Interior contents are clean. Previous owner inscription on the right front flyleaf of volume 1 - "A. T. Leonard Jr. San Francisco, Cal.". His mailing label is located in the top right corner of the right front flyleaf. A paper note, taped on the front paste down reads "Ex-libris A. T. Leonard Jr., M.D. Late United States Army San Francisco, Cal November 1944." Volume 2 is in very good condition. Inscription written on the front paste down of volume 2 reads - "Alex T. Leonard, Jr. 1124 Fulton St. San Francisco, Cal.". Seller Inventory # 24874
