Three quarter leather, burgundy morocco, with matching maroon cloth boards with gilt ruled edges, gilt lettered spine and the regimental crest on the spine and front board in gilt. Top edge gilt. xxii, 506 pages. Illustrated with 17 coloured plates, 28 plates and plans in monochrome, further illustrations and maps in the text. 8 x 10 inches. The book has foxing to the page edges, and the first and last few pages, and lacks tissue guards to the colour plates, Otherwise a very good copy. A heavy book which will require extra postage.
