8vo. [8], iv, [19], 237 pp. 8 plates, some folding, lacking The Abbey House. In contemporary panelled calf, letter-piece gilt. A manuscript note on the front pastedown indicates that this volume was purchased at the Aylesford Sale , the library from Packington Hall having been sold at auction for the 7th Earl of Ayelsford by Christie Manson & Wood 12 March 1888 in 1983 lots, the returned books being sold in the same rooms on 23 May. The music library had been sold for the 6th Earl by Puttick & Simpson on 25 August 1873. In very good condition throughout, folding plate of the Gunpowder Mills with minimal restoration to bottom edge, not affecting image (see pictures). Seller Inventory # PS.653
