About the Author
Susan Pryke is a widely published writer who takes a special interest in the history of Muskoka. She grew up on the shores of Sparrow Lake, where her parents ran a summer resort. A teaching position took her to Australia, where she wrote her first book, Boom to Bust and Back Again. On returning to Canada, she settled into a career as a writer and editor in Muskoka.
