Vol. I: xl, 527 pp. Frontispiece of Pizaro; map of Peru. Vol. II: xix, 547 pp. Frontispiece of Pedro de la Gasca; facsimiles of Pizarro's signatures. Inc. Appendix and Index. In olive-green cloth, blind-stamped front and rear; gilt titling on the spines. Spines have lightened with age. Yellow-coated end-papers show toning with age. A previous owner's name written on ffep of each volume ("Miss Lucretia Beaumont"). Some off-setting on frontispieces from tissue guards; and some age-related tan spotting. Considering its age, this is an excellent set.
