Hardcover with no dust jackets as issued; three quarters leather; grey leather on marbled boards; rubbing to leather. Raised bands on spine; Both are in basically identical condition: rubbing to leather at extremities but still handsome and not of a decrepit appearance; no marks; binding is tight, pages clean and square, appear unread. Hardcover. Condition: Near Fine. No Jacket. Sixth Edition. A very attractive set with no inscriptions notes or markings. In both volumes the second half of the book is unopened- ie top of page have to be cut Small amount of bumping to corners which is perhaps permissible after over 17 years, a very slight hint of foxing to prelims.
