The limited edition is rare. sm4to., 25.3cm (text size), xviii,[1],376p., with front and rear folding pocket maps, edition limited to 100 numbered copies, this being No. 3., on laid paper, title page printed in black and red, in full fine grain black linen, border decorated gilt spine and cover titles, bevelled boards, top edge gilt, untrimmed, engraved bookplate, a fine copy ~ ~ Note: There is some tanning on one outside panel of both maps from transfer of the pocket liner. I expect this would be the case with all extant copies of this issue.
