Good first edition. Two different previous owner's inscriptions to front endpaper. Stamps to front endpaper and half-title page, stamp on half-title page is that of Aleister Crowley's A.A. Bumping to spine ends, edges. Wear to spine ends, edges. Slight cocking to spine. Wear, rubbing to front and back boards. Hinges loose. Separation to front hinge. Discolouration to text block. Age toning throughout. General wear. Despite all of the preceding, a very desirable first edition copy of an exceedingly scarce and important title.
