Complete with 84 out of 85 plates present as usual, plus 15 extra illustrated plates, 3 maps and the blank last leaf in Vol III. The plate of the Earl of Lindsay is listed as present, however the National Portrait Gallery does not contain a copy of this plate, indicating none were produced. Other sets also lack this plate.All three volumes are bound in full panelled 19th century calf. The boards in fine shape, with some scuffing to the spines. The spines in six compartments with five raised bands, with a red lettering piece in the second compartment from the top and a volume number beneath. Internally fine with little in the way of stains or foxing. Some browning to the odd plate. Map of Ireland with a closed tear. The volume measures 19.8 x 12.7 x 3 cm. Each leaf measures 190 x 120 mm.
