Lithographs; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 528 pages; 1844 Gilbert Hills, Lancaster PA. 1st edition. Soundly bound in original speckled calf with gilt ruling to boards and spine; red morocco spine label to spine. Marbled paper endpages. Illustrated with 4 plates from lithographs. No folding table of distances. Just mild shelf rubbing to leather at spine ends and superficial shelf tapping to corner tips. Scattered light foxing and spotting in the text and the usual foxing to the plates and adjacent leaves. Prior ownership penned to front endpage and dated 1844. A very much nicer copy than usually seen. VG+. Seller Inventory # 53910
