Both volumes contain numerous in-text illustrations throughout, including the occasional colour illustration in Motor Mania.- A History of the Monte Carlo Rally, written by Michael Frostick. An illustrated history of the legendary annual race held since 1911, renowned for both its challenge and danger. Accompanying the Channel 4 documentary of the same name, this illustrated history tracks the perils and developments faced across motoring over the twentieth century. (Collins and Brown, 1996). In the publisher's original cloth, in the original unclipped dust wrappers. Externally, in excellent condition, with minimal marks and edgewear. Dust wrappers are bright and clean, with slight edgewear to Frostick, and smudging to the rear of the wrapper. Slight rubbing to the head and tail of the wrapper spine and joints, and to the extremities. End papers are bright and clean, with the odd faint spot to Sutton. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean. Fine.
