Second half of the book contains viii, 142 pages with frontispiece - The Case For The Crown in re The Wigtown Martyrs Proved to be Myths versus Wodrow and Lord Macaulay, Patrick the Pedler and Principal Tulloch, published in 1863. A book plate inside the front cover - The gift of M Oppenheim (1853-1927, pioneer historian of English naval administration) to Bath Public Reference Library in 1919, but none of the usual lending library stamps. Published in 1870 and 1863 this 1st edition volume is a fascinating book in good to very good condition.
