Bound in clean blue buckram, with bright, gilt title lettering to front board and spine, this 1938 First Edition is VG in VG wrapper.Heraldic design in gilt to front panel, of sheep with sword and flag. Size is 12" x 9". XV/503pp with Foreword by Alderman William Lucas, Introduction by H.E. Nutter, Preface by author, 25 Chapters, 200 illustrations, including charts and plans and Index. Bevelled boards, clean endpapers (neat signature on FFEP), wrapper complete and unclipped, but with minor small nicks and small closed tears. Wrapper spine slightly faded/rubbed; rear panel of wrapper has odd tiny spots. General condition all VG. Seller Inventory # 007457
