Item description from seller

First editions. Volumes I and II (of three). Translated by Eileen B. Hennessy. Tall octavos. 596, 694pp. Heavily illustrated in black and white. Just about fine in slightly tanned and modestly worn, very good dust jackets: Volume I has two very small chips on the cover panel and a small internal dampstain at the spine base that doesn't show through; Volume II is price-clipped with a tiny new inked price, and a very short creased tear on the cover panel.
