314 pp. The cover is red with gilt lettering to the spine and a gilt representation of this Regiment's cap badge. Some general age fading, somewhat heavier to the spine. There are pencilled annotations to the main text which would appear to be written by a serving member of this Battalion. If the buyer wants to remove then an eraser will work, but I feel that these comments are unique and from a serving soldier/officer.

There is some "bumping" to the cover board's corners and some creasing to the head and tail of the spine. Some light tanning to the end pages, but none within the text.

There are a number of maps and illustrations throughout the body of the book, all present and correct. It contains 5 appendices which includes Medals and Awards, and a chronological list of the battalion's movements which is very informative. The book was written by the keeper of the Battalion's War Diary, so is accurate for such movements.
