True first British printing with original unclipped jacket (16s). First issue with crossword end-paper. The loosely inserted crossword puzzle is not present. Jacket has faults - namely edge/shelf wear, a few marks, a few small (largest approx. 1.50 cms) tears, creasing/rubbing to edges, patchy browning (including to spine), patchy rubbing/loss to top (picture) surface, very small patchy loss (mainly to head/tail of spine and to corners), a few spots of foxing, patchy browning/few marks/odd spots of foxing to reverse (white side), pushing/rubbing to head/tail of spine, pushing/bumping to corners, a little patchy browning/creasing/odd marks to front/back inner flaps and is in only good condition. Boards are near fine (having been well protected by the jacket) with very minor pushing/bumping to corners and minor pushing/rubbing to head/tail of spine. Pages are generally clean and the binding is tight. Pages little tanned. Very occasional small mark to pages. No other faults. All books described honestly and accurately. Paypal accepted.
