Near Fine in a Very Good jacket, unclipped ($2.00), generally rubbed and bumped, a few small chips at the head of the spine. Green cloth with black and gilt lettering on the spine and front board. Square and firmly bound with a black top stain, clean internally. The first published novel from the author of The Big Clock, the story of Hudson General Hospital and what happened when "a drink-crazed janitor ran amok in the power room, throwing missiles and pulling switches.".
