Add to basketSan Bernardino, CA: The Bartlett Publishing Company, 1945. First Edition. Octavo, 213 pp. Maroon cloth with gilt imprinting, pictorial jacket. Near fine book showing only some age toning to page edges. Jacket shows several chips and tears, some rubbing and tears, is good plus or a little better. Forties wartime hardcover pulp fiction. Jacket blurb is a bit hard to follow, but a guy named Don Reed is doing pretty well for himself, and there is apparently a lot going on in The House Next Door. 'This thrilling story has an important message which no one can miss. It will excite you to read about the experiences of three girls who sacrifice their chastity; of their sex relations and their encounters; and how, in their mad desires, they find love and life.' And Don is just the man to assist in these endeavors. A classic, if maybe not highly literary, American genre. Scarce title. See scans. L17n.
