7.5 x 5.25", black cloth wrappers lettered in gilt, 92 pp. A very good copy with owner inscription to upper corner of title page, mild staining to covers, rear endpapers, and lower margin of pages, rear cover detached from staples but held on via spine. A rare San Francisco community cookbook. Includes a wide variety of recipes, each attributed to a local woman, including a recipe for Spanish humetas and a page of nursery menus for young children, together with local advertisements. One in OCLC.
