An handsomely bound first edition of copy Samuel Rogers' poem, Human Life. First Edition. A charming book of poetry published by the celebrated English poet Samuel Rogers. This edition contains the poem Human Life, a set of notes analysing the poem, and two further poems: Lines Written at P�stum and The Boy of Egremond. Previous owners bookplate to the front pastedown, reads 'This book belongs to L. Kordas' and features a charming illustration of a squirrel. In a morocco binding with gilt detail and edges. Externally, smart with some rubbing and bumping. Personal bookplate to front pastedown. Browning to pastedowns. Hinges starting but sound. Internally, firmly bound. Pages bright and generally clean.
