True first British printing. No jacket. Illustrated by Reginald Cleaver. All illustrations are present and in very good condition. 512 pages plus three pages of publisher's adverts to rear. Red boards with gold lettering to spine and illustration in gold to front are only good with a little pushing/bumping to corners, patchy browning (including to spine), numerous marks, a few small bumps to edges, a little patchy fading, patchy rubbing to edges and a little wear (pushing/rubbing/fraying/small splits to the cloth) to head/tail of spine. Pages are generally clean and the binding is tight. Top edge of paged dyed red have patchy fading/few small marks/minor foxing. Pages bit tanned. Bookseller's small sticker inside back board. Mark to lower corner of pages. Odd small marks/scratches/mild foxing to page edges and bottoms. Small crease to top corner of a few pages. Inside boards/end-papers have a few small marks/spots of foxing. Occasional small marks/scattered foxing to pages. No other faults. All books described honestly and accurately. Paypal accepted.
