New York: Coward McCann, 1929. Stated First Printing. Very Good+/Very Good+. First Edition in original unclipped jacket. Decorated binding. Clean brown cloth boards with green line decoration, green lettering on cover and spine. No bumping or wear, no fading. Binding is tight & square, no cracking. Pages and edges are clean, with green top-stained upper page edges. Clean decorated endpapers, with tasteful previous owner bookplate on front fixed endpaper. 312 pages. Clean dust jacket is not price clipped (2.50 on front inside flap), small chips at three spine corners, a few very short closed edge tears. Jacket design from a wood-cut by Karl S. Woerner.
