In the authors' words, the book "will give an account of the scheme which worked to the preservation of the fish and game north of the Rangeley Lakes; also how we roughed it in order to learn from the mighty forest." This copy is in VG+ condition with slight rubbing to spine ends, bright gilt titles & cover decoration, internally clean with plates clear & bright. Bearing a period presentation to noted book collector Cortland F. Bishop from Arthur H. Curtis on the front free endpaper. A very nice copy of an uncommon Maine woods book.
