Bound in the original dark green simulatedl crocodile leather cloth, spine and upper cover lettered in gilt with a pictorial onlay showing a camp scene. A generally VG+ bright clean copy in a nice tight original binding with just light fading to two gilt letters on spine. [Czech, page 101 - A cornerstone of big-game books and scarce]. Czech writes "Lyell recounts his experiences in the big game lands of Rhodesia with exciting details. All manner of game was collected, including elephant near Lake Chiuta, hippopotamus on the Shire River, rhinoceros on the Luangwa River, and lion.
