First US edition, hardcover with numerous unopened leaves, the binding is shaken with a few cracks that continue to hold, and p. 77-80 are torn across their head where the leaves were poorly opened. The book also has bumps to the spine ends and corners with the boards starting through at the corners, wear with lifting and flaking around the cover edges, rubbing with scuffs to the covers, sunning to the spine with specking at its tail, and a brief pencil note to the front paste down with short stray marks to a few other pages. Overall, this is a solid, but Fair only copy.
