Extensively illustrated all throughout in black and white with reproductions of programs and nearly every theatrical shingle from every important performance in the Club's history to the time of publication. 4to, publisher's original red buckram, the upper cover with Hasty Pudding Club insignia in gilt, the spine gilt lettered, t.e.g. 35pp, programs unpaginated. A fine copy, the prelims only a touch mellowed, the cloth toned a bit on the spine and with light bumping to the corners. The Hasty Pudding Club is the oldest social club in the United States and remains a cornerstone of the Harvard experience, The Theatricals is the third oldest theatre organization in the world. Francis Weld Peabody (November 24, 1881 October 13, 1927) was the American physician. He was known for his research on polio and typhoid fever, and was celebrated as a teacher at Harvard Medical School.
