8vo. 55p. Yellow cloth with maroon letters on the spine. No noticeable wear to extremities, cloth clean and bright, just barely noticeable dampstain at lower right corner of rear cover, else near fine to fine with no internal markings. Dust jacket has a dampstain at the bottom right corner, else near fine and not price-clipped. Born in England, William J. Stratton sailed to New York, then traveled overland by railroad and stage to Montana. After an unsuccessful venture in ranching, he entered the mining industry and retired as a mine financier living in Spokane, WA. The little book includes Stratton's own memories and experiences in Montana.
