Engraved frontispiece. Some light foxing and toning, A very good copy. Imprints 39534. These are biographical sketches Christian Native American men who lived on Martha's Vineyard. The text is taken directly from chapters one and two of the Mayhew's 1727 book: Indian Converts. Mayhew was the minister to the Indians for the London based Society for the Propagation of the Gospel in New England.
