Beige Buckram cloth quarter binding with paper covered boards and black printed titles to front, 190 x 120 mm . 148 pp Frontis + 22 other small line drawings in text by H W Tuck. Privately Published 1925 in an unquantified Limited Edition. The book offered is from the library of Harry Lawrence Bradfer-Lawrence with his armorial book plate to the front paste down. Bradfer-Lawrence , Antiquarian and one time vice-president of the Norfolk and Norwich Archaeological Society, chairman and manging director of United Breweries Ltd and also member of theYorkshire Archaeological Society. Both societies were beneficiaries of his collection of antiquarian books and documents following his death in 1964. Loosely laid in are two Norwich related newsprint articles from the 1920's. Good no d/j (Book - mild to moderate shelf wear and soiling to boards, spine a little concave with book block consequently proud at fore edge indicating that the glue to back strip may be failing however sewing and tapes sound with no cracks to end papers, book plate as above, offset browning to front free end paper from the laying in of the said news cuttings, no other notable defects).
