Translated from the french by Daphne Woodward. First UK edition, with dust wrapper. Ex-library. Blue boards with gilt lettering on the spine. Edges of boards are lightly rubbed. Page edges are well discoloured and foxed--moreso at the fore edge-- heavy staining present. Head and tail of spine lightly bumped. Front free endpapers missing. Rear free endpaper, pastedowns and title pages bears some handling, discolouration, foxing and tape marks (see image). 'Kingsway Florist & Library Wentworthville' stamp on several pages. Binding is neat and tidy. All over well handled, this book is in poor condition. Dust wrapper bears scuff marks, moderate discolouration and some patches of foxing. Edges are well handled and bear damage (see image). Spine is discoloured and sunned. Rear fold-back detached. Front fold back not far off from detaching. Price clipped.
